A new free resource is helping answer that question.
ConstructionSkillsMap.org is a nationwide, searchable map of more than 3,000 verified construction training programs. The platform brings training opportunities into one place, making it easier for students, career changers, adult learners, counselors, and workforce organizations to find programs near them.
The map includes programs across the full range of construction careers, from the skilled trades to construction technology and management. Users can search by location, compare available programs, and connect directly to a training provider’s website to learn more or enroll. The resource is free, requires no account, and is designed to work well on mobile devices.

The new platform complements BTF’s workforce efforts by making another critical part of the career pathway easier to navigate: finding training. With thousands of programs gathered into one searchable resource, job seekers and the organizations supporting them have a simpler way to identify training opportunities in their communities.
ConstructionSkillsMap.org was developed by the Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate and Construction Management at the University of Denver with funding from the National Housing Endowment. BTF is joining other industry organizations in helping raise awareness of the resource so more people can put it to use.
